ADAMAWA APC THREATENS TO DUMP PARTY IF

YOLA— THE All Progressives Congress, APC-led Adamawa State government has threatened to dump the party for the opposition if what it described as impunity in the party is not addressed.
The Chief of Staff and Director General of Bindow Campaign Organisation, Alhaji Abdulrahman Jimeta, made the threat in Yola while addressing a delegation of APC from its national secretariat to conduct North-East mini-convention.
The team, headed by Senator Abdul Jajere, were in Government House to brief Adamawa State government officials on the plans to fill the vacant positions in the party in the North-East.
‘Our grouse’
According to Jimeta, “we are loyal here. But tell the leadership of the party that there is limit to loyalty and party business is optional.”
Abdulrahman lamented that appointments were made without consulting them, even as many of the appointees were not known to the state government.
The Chief of Staff maintained that even some of the federal projects that the state should enjoy are being hijacked by some people in Abuja.
Addressing the delegation, Governor Mohammed Jibrilla appreciated the delegation’s visit, assuring them that government will give them all the necessary support in the task ahead of them.
He commended the leadership style of the APC National Chairman, Mr. John Odigie-Oyegun and pledged that his government was willing to support the party in all ramifications.
